Admissions
At Impington International College we aspire to create an educational environment in which you can flourish. We welcome students from all around the world and focus on developing international-mindedness, broadening your cultural understanding and providing you with the academic knowledge to be successful in the next stage of your life long journey of learning.
We understand that as sixth form students you are seeking independence. Our College site houses a number of study areas specifically for Years 12 and 13, in which you can go and work, either in groups or individually. We are also based in close proximity to the historical city of Cambridge, renowned for its world-class university, fantastic social scene, shopping and local restaurants. Cambridge is one of the most important technology centres in Europe; so much so, the surrounding region has been named the Silicon Fen, housing a large cluster of high-tech businesses focusing on software, electronics and biotechnology. Within this unique and beautiful city stands famous architecture old and new, together with an abundance of green open space, which you have the opportunity to explore in your free time. There are fantastic transport links and cycle paths to the city centre, with buses departing from directly outside of the College every 20 minutes.
We are proud to have offered the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) for 30 years, and delight in seeing our IB alumni go on to achieve amazing things. We would love for you to visit our sixth form and look forward to answering any questions you have about how we can tailor our curriculum to suit your passions and interests. For more information on our open evenings, please see our calendar.
