At Impington International College there is no study leave before exams start; our long experience has taught us the best way to prepare for exams is to follow structured and interactive revision activities in class as well as carrying out revision and exam preparation in your own time, ensuring that you are fully equipped for all assessments during your time with us. We understand that this time can be a stressful one and, in the lead up to exams and coursework deadlines, subject teachers will be available to provide additional support. There will also be dedicated form time discussions on revision planning and techniques, helpful online resources and tips on balancing workload.
Your exam timetable will be available to view on EduLink. Please keep an eye on the Impington International College calendar to keep up to date with all of the exam scheduling and contact your form tutor if you have any questions.
Your own College email account is provided to support your learning and will be the primary email used by teachers and administration staff. You must check your email account at least once a day in term time and you should respond (if required) to urgent College emails immediately and always within 24 hours. Your email account includes storage on the One Drive system and can be used to transfer your work files in and out of College. You will also gain access to install the Office apps and programmes on your personal devices while you have an account with us. Please remember that any emails or messages sent will be received by a person, and as such any misuse of email will lead to a suspension of your account.
As a College we use Microsoft Teams, which allows collaboration between teachers and students in and outside of lessons. Throughout your time with us you will have access to a Teams account where your subject teachers will post work and lesson outlines, which can be helpfully used for revision. Homework assignments are set on teams where there is also a useful feedback function to provide comments on your work.
We also use a website and app called EduLink to quickly connect you to a variety of functions including your timetable, attendance and messages to teachers. The site code is: IVC and the username and password are the same as your email: .
